| In order to study the phenomenon of resonance laser mode change under the interference of the edge of a metal film moving in different directions, the customized He-Ne laser resonator is adjusted to generate a high-order Gaussian beam, a metal film edge is used to interfere with the beam, and a CCD camera is used to record the evolution of the beam in detail. As the displacement of the edge of the metal film increases along the X and Y directions, the light mode appears to evolve from a high-order mode to a low-order one, and then becomes a fundamental mode, which weakens until disappear. The higher the order of the original laser mode, the richer the pattern of its evolution mode. When the upper edge of the metal film is slowly moved toward the Y axis to interfere, the laser mode is finally to split along the X axis. When the left edge of the metal film is slowly moved toward the X axis to interfere, the laser mode finally tends to be a split mode along the Y axis. |
