| The current state of research and development on portable atomic absorption spectrometers is described, with focuses on the design and performance testing of the key technical components:tungsten-coil atomizers, light sources, and CCD spectrometers; as well as on the analytical method of these instruments. The performances of portable atomic absorption spectrometers and that of conventional atomic absorption spectrometers on the detection of several typical test elements are compared, and the unique features of using the portable instruments as well as the development potential are also discussed. |
